		<description>Thanks for the post. First time I saw Linkous &#38; Co. was at a SXSW showcase during the 90s that also featured Flaming Lips (playing all of 'The Soft Bulletin' about 6 months before it came out), Mercury Rev, Grandaddy and this underrated German power pop band called Miles. Truly one of the most transporting nights of music I've experienced. Also worth checking out is 'A Loose Confederation of Saturday City States', a collaboration between Linkous, Vic Chestnutt, David Lowery and Lambchop. I think they only released a 7", which is now pretty hard to find. I remember it from my college radio days!</description>

		<description>thanks! sparklehorse kind of seem like they wouldn't be all that exciting live, but the times i've seen them, they've been pretty gripping. Linkous doesn't do that much, but in his own way he's a really good performer.</description>
