So, we get the opportunity to continue on with the series of Mother’s Best radio transcriptions by Hank Williams (look here, here and here). Back in 1950 Hank Williams was hired to provide a 15 minute radio show playing songs and pitching Mother’s Best flour. These performances are really special due to the inclusion of the between song banter and the fact that these are unavailable in any sort of official release. Remember, there’s about 15 hours worth of this stuff, so definitely look forward to more of these little shows, as I’ll be posting them periodically.

    It must have been really exciting back then to tune in every morning at 7:15 every weekday morning and hear these shows.
