Mysterious Necks
* The No-Neck Blues Band: weaving & then waving straps (9.0 mb) | the Bruce effect (9.0 mb)
From Parallel Easters : Sound@1 : S@1#70/71

The No-Neck Blues Band (or NNCK as they like to be abbreviated as) are a defiantly anti-everything sort of communal experience. They’ve been transmitting their own brand of freaky folk, jazz, noise, hippy, psychedelic, quasi-religious music since the early ’90’s via concerts at The Hint House, rooftops and public parks, or from limited edition releases from their own label Sound@1 (take a look at the label discography here).
This band has lead an intentionally obscure and reclusive existence, so I’m not going to say too much more about them. But for whatever obscure, comological reason, Orthodox Easter has some great significance to them and they maintain a yearly rooftop concert on that date. This is the third in a series of recordings that they’ve released from concerts played on Orthodox Easter.
