If you’ve been reading this mp3 blog from the beginning, than I’m sure you realize just how much I love Sly & The Family Stone. To those relative newcomers, take a look here, here and here. This band is, to me, the perfect mix of psychedelic, ramshackle, barely held together, soul, funk and rock. They combined it all in a way that hasn’t been heard since the original group disbanded in 1972.
