Little Richard should need no introduction at all. He’s the prototypical wild and wooly rocker who’s been a rollin’ since 1955 when he lit the world on fire with “Womp-bomp-a-loom-op-a-womp-bam-boom! > Tutti frutti, all rooty!” He quit the music biz two years later after recording/performing hit after hit in order to enroll into a Christian university in Alabama. He recorded a bunch of gospel songs and has been sporadically involved with music and movies since 1962. So turn up those speakers and dance all night to these primal slabs o’ rock.
