		<description>The Mummies were a great live act. They used to play lots of shows at dive bars around the Bay Area in the early 90's including the CW Saloon &#038; Chameleon where I worked at the time.

I think they were vinyl purists, and a Cd wasn't released until they were long done.

They were loud, amusing and after the gigs, would be all sweaty loading gear in their tattered beer soaked bandages. I don't recall the music being all that memorable, but who the fuck cares right?</description>
