Loren MazzaCane Connors has, over the past 25 years, been releasing some of the most emotionally naked music available. His first releases, on his own label, were a collection of 8 volumes of acoustic blues filled with word-less vocals. Already, his unique musical vision is coming through.
In Pittsburgh was originally released in 1989 and displayed a remarkable progression of his musical style. Whereas his first releases were frantic acoustic guitar rambles, this album had him picking up the electric guitar and becoming much more fluid in his playing.
You know what? As you can probably tell, I’m having a really hard time trying to describe his music and him. So, instead of trying to come up with more meaningless drivel, I encourage everyone to sample his music and he’ll tell you everything that you need to know.

I don’t know what it is about Wisconsin, but I absolutely adore that state. I think it’s a magical wonderland.
