I pursuit of girl singers around the web (especially Neko Case), I have run across your site and was pleasantly surprised to see you lived in Portland. I live here now and am woefully aware of the lack of good live music. Oh, and by the way, apart from WMPG, local radio is completely unlistenable.

The Charlottesville show was great, though it certainly didn’t top the Record Roundup. Neko’s show was, sadly, the first show I’ve been to since moving here. I miss my Chicago show-going days . . .

just saw her with the sadies in chicago, thanks for the live tracks, btw we may do a chicago bloggers meet and greet sometime in march (bands, labels cd stores etc) let me know if you’d be up for it in theory
